Saint Paul & Duluth RR Stock 1878

1878 Saint Paul & Duluth RR Stock Certificate. A very attractive railroad scripophily certificate with vignettes of two steamboats and steam train at a small town depot. The Saint Paul & Duluth RR started as the Lake Superior & Mississippi RR, linking Duluth and the Twin Cities. It failed in the panic of 1873, and eventually reorganized as the St Paul and Duluth. It was absorbed by the Northern Pacific in 1900. VF+ condition.
