1900 Pharmacist Consolidated Mining Stock Certificate signed by James Burns. The Pharmacist was a successful early Cripple Creek mine located on Bull Hill. Its gross production up to the end of 1899 was $650,000. James Burns was its president. His fame rests with his discovery and development of the Portland mine, Cripple Creeks highest producing property and his support for miners rights which led to considerable conflict with other mine owners in Cripple Creek.
