1917 Farmers Deposit National Bank (of Pittsburgh) Stock Certificate. Unusual bank scripophily document. Very large vignette of the bank's dog, ÒPrince.Ó Prince, a white English Bull Terrier, was acquired by the bank's president in 1889 and lived in the bank for the next nine years. At night he could be seen through the window guarding the bank. During the day he freely roamed the bank lobby, making friends of many of the bank's customers. His picture also is a vignette on the banks checks VF+ condition.
