1889 Comstock Tunnel $1000 Bond Certificate. Famous Nevada mining company scripophily document signed by Theodore Sutro, brother of Adolph Sutro. The company build a drainage tunnel under the Comstock Lode in Virginia City Nevada. The tunnel was used for 50 years. A Homer Lee Banknote Co engraving. VF+ condition with folds -- bond has full borders, just much larger than my scanner bed.
