1939 Chicago & North Western RW Bond Certificate. The Chicago & North Western Railway was chartered on June 7, 1859. It grew rapidly and by the turn of the the of the 20th century, it had over 5000 miles of track in Illinois, Wisconsin, Iowa and other midwestern states. At its peak it operated a system of over 12,000 miles of track. This scripophily document is in VF+ condition with punch cancellation.
