The California Street RR (later called the California Street Cable RR) operated three lines -- California Street line from Market & Drumm west on California to Central (Presidio) Ave, OFarrell, Jones & Hyde line from Market & OFarrell, OFarrell, Jones, Pine, Hyde to Beach, and the Jones Street shuttle Ð From Market via Jones to OFarrell. Cable car lines had a rather short lifetime, except in San Francisco, replaced elsewhere by electric streetcars at the turn of the century. This unissued antique stock certificate is in EF condition.
